Click N Learn : What Is It
Click n Learn is a flash based interactive language learning website which enables the students to learn English, French and Spanish. Now, a lot of website claim to be an interactive learning space but I consider ClicknLearn to be the cream of the crop,the crème de la crème and the 'la flor y nata'. The reason behind
this is because most of the activities in this site contains actual pedagogical value and the amount of content in this site is absolutely immense and you have to give them credit for that as it is absolutely free. The lessons are sorted according to a number of difficulty levels which should suite most learners. The interface it self is fairly easy to use, you literally just click on the website and the learning process should start right away. The activities are also interactive and engaging which should keep learners interested in completing them.
What Is Great About The Tool
- It's hard to believe this site is free due to the amount of content it possesses
- The activities cover a broad range of topics and are divided according to the learners' level
- The type of activities available encourages multi-modal learning
- Has illustrations, animations and SOUNDS!!
- You can download printable handout for some of the activities for classroom usage for FREE too
- The simplicity of the tool encourages autonomous learning
Some Limitations
- The lack of a "back" button in case the learners want to go to a previous question
- Some of the activities are not as good as the others
- Some of the activities requires the learners to have a wide background of cultural knowledge
